Animal Instinct

Suddenly something has happened to me
As I was having my cup of tea

Suddenly I was feeling depressed
I was utterly and totally stressed
Do you know you made me cry
Do you know you made me die

And the thing that gets to me
Is you’ll never really see
And the thing that freaks me out
Is I’ll always be in doubt

It is a lovely thing that we have
It is a lovely thing that we
It is a lovely thing, the animal
The animal instinct

So take my hands and come with me
We will change reality
So take my hands and we will pray
They won’t take you away
They will never make me cry, no
They will never make me die

And the thing that gets to me
Is you’ll never really see
And the thing that freaks me out
Is I’ll always be in doubt

The animal, the animal, the animal instinct in me
..
It’s the animal, the animal, the animal instinct in me

No one else but You !

Posted: June 28, 2010 in Songs and Lyrics

I am unwritten,
can’t read my mind,
I’m undefined

I’m just beginning,
the pen’s in my hand,
ending unplanned ..

Staring at the blank page before you
Open up the dirty window
Let the sun illuminate the words that you could not find

Reaching for something in the distance
So close you can almost taste it
Release your inhibitions
Feel the rain on your skin..

No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips

Drench yourself in words unspoken

Live your life with arms wide open

Today is where your book begins

The rest is still unwritten ..

Song –

Song facts-

“Zombie” is a protest song by the Irish band The Cranberries from the 1994 album No Need to Argue. The song, which laments The Troubles in Northern Ireland was inspired by the IRA bombing in Warrington, Cheshire in 1993. Two children, Jonathan Ball and Tim Parry, were killed. The IRA (The Irish Republican Army) is a militant group determined to remove British troops from Northern Ireland.
Lead singer Dolores O’Riordan claimed that “Zombie” speaks about “The Irish fight for independence that seems to last forever.” The lyrics even say, “It’s the same old theme since 1916.”

Lyrics-

Another head hangs lowly,
Child is slowly taken.
And the violence caused such silence,
Who are we mistaken? But you see, it’s not me, it’s not my family.
In your head, in your head they are fighting,
With their tanks and their bombs,
And their bombs and their guns.
In your head, in your head, they are crying…

In your head, in your head,
Zombie, zombie, zombie,
Hey, hey, hey. What’s in your head,
In your head,
Zombie, zombie, zombie?
Hey, hey, hey, dou, dou, dou, dou…

Another mother’s breaking’,
Heart is taking over.
When the violence causes silence,
We must be mistaken.

It’s the same old theme since nineteen-sixteen.
In your head, in your head they’re still fighting,
With their tanks and their bombs,
And their bombs and their guns.
In your head, in your head, they are dying…

In your head, in your head,
Zombie, zombie, zombie,
Hey, hey, hey. What’s in your head,
In your head,
Zombie, zombie, zombie?

Quelqu’un M’a Dit

Que tu m’aimais encore, me l’a t’on vraiment dit…
Que tu m’aimais encore, serais ce possible alors ?

[English]
Quelqu’un M’a Dit

Someone told me that our lives are not worth anything
They pass in an instant as roses faded,
Someone told me that the time that pass is a bastard
that is making coats from our grief
However someone said to me…

Who do you still love,
This is someone that’ve told me that you still love me.
Could that be possible?

Someone told me that the destiny is making fun of us
that give us nothing and promises us everything
Appear that the happiness is within reach of our hands
Then we reach out the the hand and find ourselves crazy
But someone have told me…

But who is it that told me that you still love me?
I don’t remember more but it was late night,
I’m still hearing the voice, but I don’t see the face
“He loves you, it’s a secret, don’t tell him that I tell you”
You see, someone told me…

That you still love me. Did someone really tell me…
That you still love me, so could it really be possible?

Look at all these happy people
Living their lives..

Look at all these plastic people
There’s nothing inside..

Look at all these shallow people
Telling their lies..

Look at all these empty people, people

Don’t you know
That misery loves company
Yeah I heard
That misery was looking for me
Happiness, is a face that don’t look good on me..

I don’t remember now who recommended me this song but the first time i listened to it the starting line of the song instantly got me in which said –
I don’t read the newspaper is because they all have ugly prints
And i was like i have to listen to this full song!

When i listened i felt it is an appealing song with a particular meaning attached..
Six days in some 3 minutes 54 seconds time sums up what we come across daily on our news sources(newspaper, television, web) that is summit talks, failed negotiation between peoples or governments, unconcerned leaders, bloody wars!

It is more like a story of six days staring from Monday to Saturday (Sunday is off everywhere obviously), however only these days are mentioned in the song..
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, April fool’s day and Birthday.

I really happen to like that line –
Are you alive or are you dead?
It’s only Thursday!

Here are the wording of the song-

At the starting of the week
At summit talks you’ll hear them speak
It’s only Monday
Negotiations breaking down
See those leaders start to frown
It’s sword and gun day

Tomorrow never comes until it’s too late

You could be sitting taking lunch
The news will hit you like a punch
It’s only Tuesday

You never thought we’d go to war
After all the things we saw
It’s April Fools’ day

Tomorrow never comes until it’s too late
Tomorrow never comes until it’s too late

You hear a whistling overhead
Are you alive or are you dead?
It’s only Thursday

You feel the shaking on the ground
A billion candles burn around
Is it your birthday?

Tomorrow never comes until it’s too late..
Tomorrow never comes until it’s too late..
Think tomorrow’s come I think it’s too late

And catch it here-

something’s wrong, eh?

Posted: June 19, 2010 in Songs and Lyrics

A really good song with a strong message for the people who feel that something is wrong with the world.
And for those who don’t share the same belief, no problem for it still is a nice song to listen to.

Simple Plan – Crazy .mp3

and the wording goes something like this:

Tell me what’s wrong with society
When everywhere I look I see
Young girls dying to be on TV
They won’t stop till they’ve reached their dreams

Diet pills, surgery
Photoshop pictures in magazines
Telling them how they should be
It doesn’t make sense to me
Is everybody going crazy
Is anybody gonna save me
Can anybody tell me what’s going on
Tell me what’s going on
If you open your eyes
You’ll see that something is wrong

I guess things now are not how they used to be
There’s no more normal families
Parents act like enemies
Making kids feel like it’s World War 3

No one cares, no one’s there
I guess we’re all just too damn busy
And money’s our first priority
It doesn’t make sense to me

Is everybody going crazy
Is anybody gonna save me
Can anybody tell me what’s going on
Tell me what’s going on
If you open your eyes
You’ll see that something is wrong

Is everybody going crazy.. Is everybody going crazy

Tell me what’s wrong with society
When everywhere I look I see
Rich guys driving big SUV’s
When kids are starving in the streets

No one cares.. No one likes to share
I guess life’s unfair

Is everybody going crazy
Is anybody gonna save me
Can anybody tell me what’s going on
Tell me what’s going on
If you open your eyes
You’ll see that something, something is wrong

Do you believe?

Posted: June 19, 2010 in Songs and Lyrics

I close my eyes,
And even when I’m sleeping
I’m alright,
‘Cause You are in my life.

Once upon a time,
I only imagined this
And now you’re mine.
Wished for you so hard.
Prayed that you’d find me;
Baby you’re here today,
Here to remind me:

If you believe that dreams come true,
There’s one that’s waiting there for you.
‘Cause I believed when I saw you
That when you want something enough,
That it can’t escape your love.
There is nothing in the world that cannot be…
If you believe…

Everybody said
That I was a fool to think
That we could be (Everybody said that…)
That I couldn’t get my heart out of my head
But they just didn’t see;
No, they just could not have
The feeling that you give,
The places that you go…

If you believe that dreams come true,
There’s one that’s waiting there for you.
‘Cause I believed when I saw you
That when you want something enough,
That it can’t escape your love.
There is nothing in the world that cannot be…
If you believe.

Never wished for material things;
Never needed wind in my wings.
I never wished for anything but you…!
I can’t explain it,
Someone just told me,
Go where your heart is,
You’ll never be lonely.
